Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 15, 2026

Our commitment

Renaissance Intelligence LLC builds the Online Accessibility Suite to help people make documents accessible, so the application itself must be usable by everyone. We aim for the web application to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility defects in our own interface as bugs with the same priority as functional defects.

What we do

  • Keyboard operability for all controls, including the remediation wizard, the alt-text editor and dialogs.
  • Visible focus indicators, meaningful link and button names, and dialogs announced to assistive technology.
  • Colour is never the only carrier of meaning; the interface meets the 4.5:1 text contrast minimum in light and dark themes.
  • Disabled controls stay reachable to screen readers with an explanation of why they are disabled.
  • Automated checks in our test suite, plus manual testing with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers.

Known limitations

  • Slide preview images in the wizard are visual renderings of your slides; their text content is available through the slide’s own text panel and the report table, not through the image.

Conformance report (VPAT / ACR)

An Accessibility Conformance Report based on the VPAT 2.5 template is in preparation. Institutions that need one for procurement can request the current draft, and our HECVAT security answers, at the address below.

Feedback

If you encounter a barrier using OAS, tell us at support@renaissanceintelligence.ai with the page and what happened. We respond within 2 business days and fix confirmed barriers as a priority.
